nov. 2009

Last month was prob. one of the most busy months i hve had in a while, i decided to take the whole month off to b with cody, visit my mom, grandma and little bros and sis. and finally go to texas to meet cody's family: i was soo nervous.

The first week of nov. i went to the marine ball, in Primm nevada, it was amazin! I got to dress up but after just an hour or soo i was ready to get out of my 5in heels!

The week after that i went to escondido, it was nice to b with my mom, grandma, and the kids. i miss thm a lot!

Then on the 15th we left to texas! It was a long drive! We left sun. mornin around 9am and got to codys house, the next day, around 1 or 2ish in the afternoon. i was so nervous to meet his fam. but they were super nice! and made me feel right at home. it was cool to see where cody grew up and meet all his friends and family. (And when i say i met the fam i mean almost the whle fam! haha it was all awkward at first but after the firsts hey im hannah, everything became more relaxed.) i miss bein in texas, it was soo nice to be in the south again!
But since ive been down there i catch myself having a southern accent in more words then usual.

i knew it was going to be hard to leave cody, and seabury once we came back to cali. but i didn't know i was goin to stay. It's been nice tho. i love hanging out with seabury and seein cody everyday.

just the other day seabury comes home nonchalantly and kindof somber, i asked him what's up, and he replied i need to make some calls; i was confused and about to go outside when he calls lyd and tells me to stay for a little, then he tells us the news: he is deployin to afgan. on feb 7th :( i deff had tears in my eyes, im soo nervous for him! but he has been waitin to deploy for a while, and is excited. i will support him but ill still be worryin about him everyday, hopein and prayin nothin bad will happen to him.

too much

first off, i finished the spring sem. in school and planning on going in the fall.
second, i'm starting to work a lot more! i just got asked to be supervisor on sat. on sun.-means i'm in charge and i have to close papers-it'll be a good experience for me. although it's the weekend and i haven't worked weekends in the past few months, so it is going to take a little getting used to. and it's going to be a lot more hard to ask for days off-bc not everyone can close-
third, i want to get the weekend off this next week but im not sure if im going to be able to. i would like to go down to san diego say hey to my fam. then head up to 29 to see seabury and cody. but since i got this new pos. idk if they will let me get a weekend off for a while.
--------------------------------------------------------------

sometimes i feel as tho i need to just calm down and take a deep breath because i get ahead of myself and i have soo many bills, i'm living pay check to pay check and it's not fun. i miss the days when i had enough to pay bills and after enough to go shopping, go to the movies, and do whatever i wanted.
and on top of that my b/f lives 6 hrs away and it's so frustrating and annoying sometimes-just talking to him on the phone and texting during the day.
it was soo much easier when i had the weekends off.

who's ready for terrorist attacks, abortion, and socialism?!

CHANGE!!!
bring on your change, Obama!

i dont like the fact that obama won-im sorry but im going to go to college soon and w/ him as president-if i work hard (which im going to do) and get A's and B's and there's a dumb ass in my class that makes D's and F's then my A's and B's are going to be lowerd to C's so the fool who is making the D's-thier-grades will be raised to C's. i do NOT agree with that. i work hard for my grades why should someone who doesnt try or care get benefitted?! and its the same thing w/ the rich people except the only reason they voted for him is b/c he is going to lower thier taxes and take more from the poor.

and im not at all racist...i just dont trust the guy. i think its one of the biggest mistakes this country has ever made.

An Eventful Week(s)...

Last Thursday, while I was at work, Lyd got a call from our Mom telling her our grandpa just had a seizure while having his birthday dinner with the family. So that night when I got home Lyd told me the sad news, and we starting packing right away! The next morning we left for San Diego. Saturday, I got to see him. It was hard at first to see him in that kind of state, because to me he has always been healthy and strong...then seeing him just weak, vulnerable, and unable to speak...it was sad. My grandma just told me to talk to him like he could respond because he can still hear and understand what we (I) say just he can't respond. So after I got used to seeing him like that, and I was passed the shock, I told him how I got my G.E.D, and that I'm planning on being a nurse. I also told him how windy it was in Soledad, and that San Diego is as Beautiful as ever! That I loved him and he was the BEST GRANDPA EVER! That I'll see him again...that was the hardest thing to tell him because I felt like it would be a long time before I really did see him again, and I was right. Right before we (colt, lyd, seabury, and I) were about to leave the hospital I was in his room again talking and comforting my grandma...when they started taking off IV's and switching him to a quieter room....he lasted through the night and then Sunday morning at 7:30 he passed away. I was at my grandma's house and when I heard the news it was hard everything seemed quiet and it didn't feel like he should be really gone....Like he would pop up and say just kidding. ha. But this is real and he I know I'll see him again, but he was supposed to live forever and be there when I got married...and such. My grandpa was an AMAZING guy! I love him! The funeral was Thursday the 18th. It was open casket, and I couldn't control myself, the tears were rolling before I even reach him. When I looked at him it didn't even look like the happy, fun, joking, grandpa I knew...I couldn't stand there long. It was hard. We were all hugging after just trying to comfort oneanother while crying. He was a loved grandpa, father, husband, and friend. We all miss him, but we also know that he is in a better/happier place.

Next, Seabury got married today! It's weird to think that he got married and now I'm the next one in line (unless supie gets married before I do). haha. With Seabury married, everyone older than me is hitched, and it all happened in order...James, Lyd, Ben, and now Sea. IT'S CRAZY!!! haha

Then, Sunday, it's Ben and Maryanne's First Year Anniversary!

Then, James, the eldest, is having his Second child on Monday!

And Finally, the yongest in the fam., Daniel is turning 11 on Tuesday!

It's been a crazy and stressful week for everyone...I did however get to see cousins that I haven't seen for at least 10 years! And that was fun. :D
